Proclaimers For Christ Motivational Meeting

Share

I got the idea to have a little dinner party that I ended up calling Proclaimers For Christ Motivational Meeting about a month ago.  I wanted to keep it small, which is what I expected it would be considering this would be a first time event thing that I would actually host. I am not very eloquent, in fact normally when I talk publicly I fall into this pit of talking in slang or excessively making punny jokes. So to break myself in I was hoping for it to start small. Which it did, there was 7 people that actually attended the meeting and that actually includes me and my husband. I made some Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp Alfredo(I heard was kind of weird lol), Cheese Biscuits, Mozzarella Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes.  I really felt compelled by God to serve people, as he calls us to do in verses like these:

Acts 20:35

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Matthew 20:28

Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

1 Corinthians 9:19

For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them.

And the verses are endless! I hope that as I continue to do these meetings you will be praying for me that they do the works of God and that God will be with me all the way!

Preach it Sister. Yes were are all here to LOVE, and Serving others is such a blessing, actually an honor…and you will be blessed when you give this kind of LOVE. Good job listening to the Spirit. Wishing you and Aaron were a little closer. Sorry I didn’t read this one last year!!! Oh and I love the picture. Your sister in Christ, Chelle.
