In His Service – P.U.S.H.

A man was sleeping one night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light, and God appeared.  The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin.

The Lord explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might.  So, this the man did, day after day.

For many years he toiled from sun up to sundown, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all his might!

Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain.

Since the man was showing discouragement, the Adversary (Satan) decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the weary mind:  (He will do it every time)!

“You have been pushing against that rock for a long time and it hasn’t moved.”  Thus, he gave the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure.

These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man.  Satan said,  ”Why kill yourself over this?  Just put in your time, giving just the minimum effort, and that will be good enough.”

That’s what the weary man planned to do, but decided to make it a matter of prayer and to take his troubled thoughts to the Lord.  ”Lord,”  he said,  ”I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked.  Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter.  What is wrong?  Why am I failing?”

The Lord responded compassionately,  ”My friend, when I asked you to serve Me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all of your strength, which you have done.  Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it.  Your task was to push.  And now you come to Me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed.

But, is that really so?  Look at yourself.  Your arms are strong and muscled, your back shiny and brown, your hands are calloused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard.

Through opposition you have grown much, and your abilities now surpass that which you used to  have.

True, you haven’t moved the rock.  But your calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in My wisdom.  That you have done.   Now I, my friend, will move the rock.”

At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when actually what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him.

By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God who moves the mountains.

Come And Proclaim Jesus Today!!!

Deuteronomy 32:1-4.

1 “Listen, O heavens, and I will speak!
Hear, O earth, the words that I say!
2 Let my teaching fall on you like rain;
let my speech settle like dew.
Let my words fall like rain on tender grass,
like gentle showers on young plants.
3 I will proclaim the name of the Lord;
how glorious is our God!
4 He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.
Everything he does is just and fair.
He is a faithful God who does no wrong;
how just and upright he is!

John 1:19-27.

19 This was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Temple assistants[a] from Jerusalem to ask John, “Who are you?” 20 He came right out and said, “I am not the Messiah.”

21 “Well then, who are you?” they asked. “Are you Elijah?”

“No,” he replied.

“Are you the Prophet we are expecting?”[b]

22 “Then who are you? We need an answer for those who sent us. What do you have to say about yourself?”

23 John replied in the words of the prophet Isaiah:

“I am a voice shouting in the wilderness,
‘Clear the way for the Lord’s coming!’”[c]

24 Then the Pharisees who had been sent 25 asked him, “If you aren’t the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet, what right do you have to baptize?”

26 John told them, “I baptize with[d] water, but right here in the crowd is someone you do not recognize. 27 Though his ministry follows mine, I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandal.”

Ephesians 2:14-18.

14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. 15 He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. 16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.

17 He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near. 18 Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.

John 8:23-30.

23 Jesus continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You belong to this world; I do not. 24That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I Am who I claim to be,[a] you will die in your sins.”

25 “Who are you?” they demanded.

Jesus replied, “The one I have always claimed to be.[b] 26 I have much to say about you and much to condemn, but I won’t. For I say only what I have heard from the one who sent me, and he is completely truthful.” 27 But they still didn’t understand that he was talking about his Father.

28 So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man on the cross, then you will understand that I Am he.[c] I do nothing on my own but say only what the Father taught me. 29 And the one who sent me is with me—he has not deserted me. For I always do what pleases him.” 30 Then many who heard him say these things believed in him.

I am so very happy to say that Proclaimers for Christ is an awesome out reach to the world to those that need to claim Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.

If there is anyone in a troubled state in their personal walk with God we are ready to help and/or pray with you, or if you need to claim Jesus Christ as your own these ministries are a great way to start your personal walk with our awesome God and our Father.

And some  have just slipped away from God, and need to reclaim your life back into subjection of God’s will we have great people on here including myself that would love to help and pray for you.

So may all let go of any guilt in our lives and give all to Jesus and He will make us clean, and new again, and ask Him to take all doubt, and obstacles out of out path, and surrender all that are to Him, and may we Proclaim,Exclaim,Reclaim, and most of all claim the name of Jesus Christ and I promise that He will give us that fulfillment, and love we have always searched for in our lives.

Being A Go-To Person!

Love,Comforter,Peace,GraceThis life is so beautiful, but there is many times it can get very rough it can pull us apart and tear us up, I know this for a fact because I have been there and it stinks, sometimes it may feel like no one cares or sees our pain, or fears, But God is always right there ready to hold us in His loving arms, and comfort us.

I just want take a moment and say I believe we that are in that state of our lives when we are strong we also need to remember to show authentic love in our community, and be the person that people can come to for help when they need a strong shoulder to lean on what I’m saying is “A Go-To Person” someone people can rely on and trust in to listen when they need an ear on their behalf someone they can look up to, and pray with them and for them.

I know there was a time in my life when I wished there would have been “A Go-To Person” for me like about seventeen years ago when I gave all I was and had to God, and at that time I knew I really had something God had given me, but did not know what to do with what I had so I became discouraged in my Christian walk with my Saviour I did not know that there was a such thing as an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ so I strayed away from the wonderful life that I had with Him, and chose my own way, down the path of destruction, and I went down that path for about fourteen years, and also lost my nineteen month old son in a tragic accident in June 2004,   but little did I know that God was at work the whole entire time to bring me back.

I ended up losing an awesome job I had with great benefits for my family, and also going deeper and deeper down in my own muck, when one day I got enough of  it and had no where else to go then I came to God, and said Lord you know my life and where it is headed I need Your help I need to find a job because this life I am living is going no where.

So I cleaned up my life some what and God answered my prayer and I got a job working in the logging industry, little did I know that eight weeks later I would meet that “Go-To Person” the hand of God moved in this mans heart to invite me to come to church so that next following Sunday morning my family and  I went to church and met the most wonderful people full of love and totally excepted me, and my family.

Then about six weeks later on a Sunday morning after the worship and sermon there was an altar call given, and I was sitting in my seat with my head pounding from the night before because of all the drinking I did, and I knew it was time to make a decision with what I needed to do with my life, and where I was going was no good, so I stood to my feet and showed God my decision to come back to where I once was many years before, and so I asked the Holy Spirit to fill my life again, and that I wanted to live the rest of my life for Him, and do His will, and not be a selfish hard hearted person that I had become, thank God for His wonderful grace because that Sunday morning He flooded my soul with peace, love, and joy, and also thank the people in our church that my family, and I still attend now  three years later.

And I will have to say there were those there and still are those in our church that are “Go-To People”.  And I am proud to say that I love them all very much, and also love my personal  Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for He is truly our “Go-to God” for our lives He is always the same yesterday, today, and forever praise the Lord. Amen.

Psalm 103:2-6 (NLT)  2 Let all that I am praise the Lord;
may I never forget the good things he does for me.
3 He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
4 He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
5 He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

6 The Lord gives righteousness
and justice to all who are treated unfairly.

May God bless you all!!

Does not everyone want Deliverance?

Deliverance,Being Delivered,Love,MercyDeliverance is a beautiful thing that can come to all of our lives, many times we look for deliverance in many different ways, I know for myself I wanted much deliverance in my life but could not find it anywhere, until one day a few years ago God came again knocking at my hearts door inviting me to come back home, God wanted to rescue me, and show me His wonderful grace, I did not even know that I was ready to truly know what His grace really was, and how His grace could work in my life.

It says in 2 Samuel 22:20- He also brought me out into a broad place;/safety He delivered me because He delighted in me.

I started to realize that being saved/being delivered was not by anything I had done or by works, but by faith, and excepting that Christ spilled His blood on the cross for my sins, and that true deliverance was all in the cross and, knowing how much God really loved me it is truly wonderful.

Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Psalm 103:2-4.

I just want to let all know that true deliverance is in the cross of Jesus Christ, and also to center our lives around Him, and to give up all that we think we are and choose His light to shine in us and be authentic in our walk with Him. And choose Him for all our life here on earth and live in true deliverance, and His grace.

May God bless everyone and may we all keep on keeping on.

From the Miracle of Life Change by Chip Ingram

God is bigger than anything in your life. That’s the point. He wants to take your life and my life from being spiritual caterpillars and make us beautiful butterflies. He’s bigger than your job, your marriage, your anxieties, your panic attacks, your fears and your marital problems. He’s over all, and through all. He’s working everyday, in every way, using every circumstance, every person, and every situation, to morph you into the image of His Son. He desires to make you and me little mirrors, although imperfect, that will reflect the character, the love, the grace, and the holiness of Jesus Christ living his life through us. That’s what holy transformation is all about.
