Thought for today; This is the week of great liberation, I will try to keep my focus on that… As we near the resurrection, we cannot celebrate it, without realizing that there was a tremendous cost that was getting ready to made… and alot was happening… I kinda think that Jesus’ mindset was to fulfill why he came, and His focus was to liberate the captive through the shedding of His blood… The Jews wanted a King that would come and liberate them their way, but, I love Jesus’ plan much better… I understand they were tired of being mistreated by the Romans and they wanted vindication, Jesus wanted salvation for all who would come throughout the rest of time, and he wanted restoration and death was the only option that could accomplish that need. I am so glad He looked through time and Loved me enough to die for me and give me such a beautiful gift called Grace… I am sure Jerusalem was filled with excitement and a lot of people from all over coming home sacrifice… But what they did not know was the greatest sacrifice of all time was just days away, I would have liked to walk those narrow streets of stone, maybe one day I will get to walk up the path He walked in Jerusalem. To really bring home to me what that day that was coming was going to be like for our Lord and Master. My father went to Israel and he had always told me one trip and you will see the bible unfold to your eyes… For us as Christ Followers it is a time of reflection and yet it is also a time of Vision casting… For Jesus looked out through time and seen the need for the Lost, to be afforded salvation, and for the Word to be fulfilled. My heart aches when I hear His voice saying my fields are ripe unto harvest, but, the workers where are they? This week for us should be a week of introspection where we really look deep at what we are doing to make disciples for the Lord. Do we really look through the eyes of Jesus and see what he saw? What really moves our thoughts and our actions? Are we so consumed with the things of this life that we have forgotten that this is not about us, but, about what He did for us on the Cross? I challenge you to ask yourself one question a day and really look hard at your life and lifestyle, who do you love the most? Make this Easter different put a smile on the Face of God… Bring to him that which He died for…the Lost…!!! Cast that Vision and put legs to it, ask someone will you go with me to God’s house… I am going to be one that is in the field… not off looking to fulfill Ron’s desires… I am going to reach out to my neighbors and friends to bring the Message of the Cross of Deliverance to them…The rest He takes over and performs… but He said if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto myself…. We have the challenge to really look at ourselves, then to put action to our faith by lifting up Jesus… This can not only impact others, but it can also change your perspective as you see the lost and hurting come running to Him… Have a great day!
